Tassadar is the Protoss Epitome of Psionic Powers, he has lived for so long and mastered the powers of dark and light, Tassadar can use any power on this page, the power level listings are meant to help newer Protoss players.




Psionic Attack Abilities:


Psionic ability: Psi Blades

Level required: Protoss: Weakest Terrans:Medium (Technolgy Required)

Description: Protoss zealots can usually manifest their psionic powers as energy blades, this emerge from the users wrists.


Psionic ability: Warp blades

Level required: Protoss: Medium dark templar

Description: Dark templar can use their greater psionic power to create larger more powerful psi blades known as warp blades.


Psionic ability: Psi ball

Level required: Terran: Strong Protoss: Weak

Description: By building up psionic energy inside themselves the energy can be released and manifested into a ball of psionic energy that can be tossed at the enemy. The more energy that is built up inside the psi user the bigger the psi ball becomes. If the ball is overcharged impact may have explosive effects.


Psionic ability: Psionic Disruption

Level required: Terran: Strong Protoss: Medium

Description: Psionic energies can be built up inside the mind and released at will. These energies can disrupt other life forms, clouding their senses and slowing their movement. The more power the psychic has the more Disrupted energies can be released, quickly, more powerfully and more concentrated.


Psionic ability: Psionic Storm

Level required: Terran: Strong Protoss: Medium

Description: Power psychic ripples, which are disruptive to some life forms, can be focused to create a storm of psychic energy once released. The storm is more powerful if the psychic has a strong mind.


Psionic ability: Feedback

Level required: Protoss: Dark Archons/Archons only

Description: The archons can manipulate raw psychic energies as well as synthetically generated energies. So great is their power of manipulation that they can create a whiplash of these psychic energies turning the power of their psychic enemies against themselves.


Psionic Defence Abilities:


Psionic ability: Hallucination

Level required: Terran: Strongest Protoss: Strong

Description: Illusionary duplicates of other beings can be created by psychic manipulation to provide cover. Hallucinations have no physical substance.


Psionic ability: Disruption Shell

Level required: Terran: Strong Protoss: Medium

Description: Psionic energy can be focused to create a shell of psionic energy around the psychic. This has the same effect as a disruption wave to anyone who comes into contact with the shell and a psionic ripple can be sent though it to make a disruption wave. However gunfire can penetrate the shell and it takes a lot of energy to keep the shell in place around the psychic.


Psionic ability: Disruption Wall

Level required: Terran: Strongest Protoss: Strong (not dark templar)

Description: Strong psychics can “harden” the Disruption shell so that it becomes a physical energy wall which nothing can penetrate. However, as with the disruption shell, the wall takes a lot of energy to keep it in place. The wall can be projected to protect others, but this will take up even more energy.


Psionic ability: Stasis Field

Level required: Protoss: Strongest only

Description: A great amount of psionic energy can be used to create a large stasis field around units. Units caught in the field are trapped and beyond reach of any normal interaction until the field de-stabilises.


Psionic ability: Maelstrom

Level required: Protoss: Strongest

Description: By building up then releasing a powerful surge of energy at enemies it can stun them for a short period of time.


Psionic Healing Abilities:


Psionic ability: Heal

Level required: Terran: Weak Protoss: Weak

Description: Psionic energies can be used to manipulate skin tissue and damaged arteries, effectively rapidly speeding up the healing process. The speed of the healing increases with the power of the psychic.


Psionic ability: Restoration

Level required: Terran: Strong Protoss: Medium

Description: Psionic energies can be released into the friendly, which will target foreign objects, or illnesses and displace them out of the body, returning them to normal quickly. This can also be used to prevent zerg infestation when it is in the early stages.


Psionic ability: Relieve pain

Level required: Terran: Medium Protoss: Weak (not dark templar

Description: Light ripples of psionic energy can be concentrated to stimulate pleasure sensors in area where pain is felt. Effectively cancelling out the painful feeling.


Psionic ability: Immediate healing

Level required: Protoss: Strong dark templar only

Description: Dark templar can use their unrestricted psionic power to heal large wounds almost immediately. Smaller wounds cause more problems as it requires more control.


Other Psionic abilities:


Psionic ability: Self-Cloaking

Level required: Terran: Medium Protoss: Weak

Description: By drawing on their psionic abilities psi users can cover themselves with a psionic field making them almost invisible. However the eye can detect a slight “shimmer”, as the psi ability is not perfect. Lower level psi users can achieve this by using a cloaking device.


Psionic ability: Mind Control

Level required: Protoss: Dark Archons only

Description: This ability can use psionic ripples to take command of any weak-minded being that the Dark Archon can then control completely. Medium protoss or strong Terran psi users can only block this power.


Psionic ability: Archon/Dark Archon Warp

Level required: Protoss: Strong

Description: The warping together of two strong templar/dark templar by using great psionic forces to create a new powerful being.


Psionic ability: Psionic sensing

Level required: Terran: weakest Protoss: weakest

Description: The psi user can detect disturbances caused by psionic ripples, this includes sensing cloaked units and other psi users.


Psionic ability: Recall

Level required: Protoss: Strongest only

Description: A tear can be made in the fabric of space to transport back up troops to the psychics location. However this takes up a lot of psionic energy.


Psionic Assimilation
Light and Dark Templar ONLY
Description:
Psionic Assimilaion is the ultimate power of the Protoss. When this mighty spell is invoked Tassadar transforms himself into a ball of pure psionic energy, and casts himself towards the opponent, any living organism touched during the ball stage will have it's life force drained into Tassadar's strength.





Tassadar Abilities

Archon Mind-Tassadar channels the power of the Light AND Dark Templar into himself in a split, his mind splits mentally in two, the powers of Light and Dark flowing over him, allowing him to use Archon abilities in normal form

Adun Blast-The Adun blast is a manifestation of the fallen Templar Adun, Tassadar reaches into the spiritual plane to seek Adun, Adun then charges Tassadar, the first Templar's powers radiating from Tassadar's gauntlets and spraying forth in a vast Psionic Flame.

Khalas Tendrils-Tassadar's Psionic charge takes the form of snake like tendrils, raditating from his hands towards the target, the tendrils wrap around the target and drain them of their energy.
