Engagements of the 37th


Most civil war historians like to focus on the major battles of the war. While not to take anything away from the major confrontations this list will also include minor skirmishes and anything that could be described as more than a minor exchange of fire. This list will definately include any confrontation that resulted in the death or wounding of a member of the regiment.

Jonesboro. August 31-September 1, 1864.

Nashville. December 15-16, 1864.
Bentonville. March 19-21, 1865.
