“Pitiful Fool! Tremble with fear! Obelisk the Tormentor is once again set lose to walk this world!” An arrogant voice echoes throughout the Kaiba Corp. Stadium as a large blue demonic creature lifts up a much smaller creature which resembles a magician. “Your Dark Magician is no more Yugi! Now Obelisk the Tormentor! Attack and claim Silfer the Sky Dragon for me!” Now as its final assault commenced a sadistic grin spread over the C.E.O. of Kaiba Corporations face as he watched his rival, the famous Yugi Muto be destroyed and by doing so claiming Yugi’s Egyptian God Card. However before the attack could commence Yugi smirked and said “Sorry Kaiba…… It is not I who have lost….. For it is you…..and now I have but one thing to say to you! Wake up!” Throwing himself forward in his bed, Kaiba wiped the sweat from his brow and shouted “DARNIT!…A Dream…. It was all a dream.. Not only have I not won Silfer! But that pitiful excuse of a duelist Yugi has it…” Now getting out of bed and getting dressed, Kaiba walked to a table where his deck rested and picked it up. Looking over the cards it contained he took three from the deck and eyed them over carefully. “My three Blue Eyes White Dragons…. Your all I have left..” Now putting them back into his deck he made his way out of his room and down his stairs. Looking at a grandfather clock, he noticed the time was 8:00 AM. Seeing the mail laying on the table as it always did, it was picked up and looked over. “Great… Another new pack of cards… Like they have anything that could be of any use…..” Now opening the envelope the booster pack was inside of, Kaiba looked over the pack and a confused look formed. “I’ve never even heard of this booster series…” Opening the pack he looked over the first eight cards with a look of disgust spread across his face. “All Novice cards..” Now moving a Beaver Warrior, Kaiba couldn’t believe his eyes, one of the cards which he had longed for, not for its power but for something else, now in his hand was the Black Luster Soldier. He already had the ritual but never the monster and now there it was, in his hand, the one card that when combined with his Ultimate Dragon would create a creature that had once saved him from the mythic dragon which nearly took his life. Looking over the card Kaiba simply smirked and said “Enjoy Obelisk Now Yugi, Soon along with my Dragon Master Knight, Obelisk the Tormentor will be mine again along with your god card… SILFER THE SKY DRAGON!” Now leaving his home, Kaiba walked to his limo which took him to the headquarters of Kaiba Corp. where he was forced to perform his duties as C.E.O. throughout the day. As the day slowly drew to a close, Kaibas mind began to wonder, he could hardly wait to challenge Yugi and reclaim his god card. Leaving the office after putting away several papers he had been filling out which terminated several employees who were deemed incompetent, Seto walked from his office and locked the door behind him, however upon turning around he heard a voice which he had grown to hate in a very short period of time. “Well Kaiba… I hope your not in a hurry…..because right now, I feel like having a little shadow game…” “I don’t have time for this Egyptian nonsense right now… I have a real duelist to challenge.. Not some freak like yourself Marik….” “Still don’t believe in the powers of the Millennium Items? Well maybe another first hand example will set you straight… We will duel, but lets make things interesting….Your brothers soul will be on the line…” “Your insane! Mokuba isn’t even….” Marik now stepped out of the way revealing a zombie like Mokuba. “No… Not again… Your finished.. Nobody messes with a member of the Kaiba family and gets away with it… I’ll play your game….” Now Marik smirked and said “Very well…” “But wait. We need our duel disks…” “O do we?” Marik said as the Millennium Rod which was held in his hand began to glow and the scenery around them grew dark and black pillars drew up from the ground in front of them. “I hope you don’t mind another stipulation Seto… if you lose.. Your soul is mine as well… “ “Shut up already…. Don’t you ever get tired of running your mouth..” “Very well.. Let me begin… I play two cards face down and play this face down in defense mode…. “ Marik says setting down the three cards and looking to Kaiba. “Your move….” Kaiba now drew a card from his deck. “Damn it….. Nothing special.. “ Kaiba thought to himself as he sat a card in his magic and trap area. “I play Battle Ox in attack mode” the wealthy C.E.O. said as one of his less powerful monsters which was an Ox wielding an axe and body armor. Now as control switched to Marik, Marik smirked and said “Well I’ll set another monster face down…and end my turn… but Kaiba…. I wouldn’t let these cards build up…. After all, if I get three I’ll summon Ra and then what will you do?” Snarling and drawing a card, Kaiba argued with himself internally questioning whether attacking would be wise or not. Deciding that the summoning of Ra was to much of a risk, Kaiba smirked and set another card and said “I play this card face down in defense mode and I have Battle Ox attack!” Now as Battle Ox charged and brought his axe down on one of the face down monsters Marik had set, the Grand Tiki Elder rose up and shattered. “That was your big plan Marik!? You truly must be insane….” “O but Kaiba, it is you who is insane….. Because now I activate Luminous Spark!” “But that’s not even a Trap card… and there is no monster to…” suddenly Kaiba stopped in his tracks, he couldn’t see a thing. Growling Kaiba shook his head and said “You’ll pay for this Marik!” “O will I? How will that happen when you can’t even see what monster your about to play?” “Because Marik!” A deep voice booms from no where as the Battlefield is covered in a brilliant light which is generated from an eye which has appeared on the forehead of Yugi Muto who was currently using the power of his Millennium Puzzle. “You…. You have no business here..” “O don’t I?” Yugi questioned. “Kaiba! If you have any hopes to survive your going to have to trust in your cards with all of your heart!” “Yugi… How many times must I tell you! I don’t believe in this magical nonsense!” “Kaiba! How do you explain your blindness at the moment then?” “Its all tricks!” “NO! Now do as I say if you hope to rescue your brother or are to proud to accept my help to save him…” As a shocked expression spread across his face, Kaiba’s train of thought was interrupt by Marik shouting “I offer my face down Humanoid Slime to summon the Summoned Skull!” Now as the face down card on Marik’s side of the field was replaced by the large skull like demon, Kaiba braced for impact as the skull charged its attack and hurled it at the Ox causing it to shatter and Kaiba’s LP to reduce to 7200. “Well its your turn Kaiba if you can even see what monster your playing…” Shaking his head rapidly, put his fingers to his deck to draw a card and said “Ok… Heart of the cards… I must trust in my deck…” Immediately drawing a card and throwing it down on the field, Seto shouted “ I summon Vorse Raider in attack mode!” Hearing the familiar call of the monster, both Yugi and Marik appeared to be shocked seeing Kaiba’s excellent display. “Nice try Kaiba! But my Summoned Skull still towers above you pitiful raider in terms of attack points!” “O does it?” Now taking a card from his hand and setting it down, Kaiba smirked confidently and said “I equip Axe of Despair!” Now the Vorse Raider’s blade was replaced by a large axe and the raider wasted no time in charging the Summoned Skull and slicing the demonic beast in two down the middle causing Marik’s life points to drop to 7600. Taking no time to draw a card, Marik laughed sadistically as he played two cards, Heavy Storm and Dark Hole clearing the battlefield and leaving both of them back at square one. However Marik who had yet to summon sat down Bazoo the Soul Eater. As the baboon like creature appeared, Marik took the three monsters from his graveyard and removed them from the grave causing Bazoo to increase in size. “Kaiba! Watch out! Its going to be a direct attack!” “Don’t you think I know that!?” Kaiba roared as the Marik shouted “Bazoo the Soul Eater! Attack Seto Kaiba!” As the creature launched a black orb of energy which struck Kaiba head on, Kaiba dropped to one knee and shouted “How did that hurt me!? This isn’t real… It cant be….” “O but it is real Kaiba!” Marik shouted. “Now take your turn! Your not getting any less blind!” Kaiba drew another card and went to put it in attack mode but decided not to for some reason. Putting it in face down defense mode, Kaiba ended his turn and Marik drew his card but simply attacked and upon doing so looked in horror as a Morphing Jar was revealed and both players discarded their hands and drew five more. Of course this did hurt Kaiba seeing how he no longer had any cards memorized. Now setting a trap card, Marik handed control over to Kaiba who drew a card and layed it down upon the podium. “Kaiba! Be careful! You don’t even know what card that could be!” “By the powers of Monster Reborn! I Bring back Cyber-Tech Alligator!” Now appearing in front of him was a Cyborg like alligator who was sent to the graveyard thanks to the morphing jar and now hissed and growled ferociously at Marik. “And now Marik! I attack your Bazoo the Soul Eater!” Now the Cyber Tech Alligator drew its hands together and went to launch a red beam of energy but before striking Bazoo, The trap card Marik his set raised up and two Cylinders appeared. As the attack entered one it shot back out the other side and struck Kaiba square sending him flying backward. “Magic Cylinder! Don’t you just hate that card Kaiba!?” Marik asked sadistically as Kaiba made his way back to his feet. Gritting his teeth and thinking about his brother’s soul being on the line, Kaiba listened for Marik to make his move and as soon as he heard Marik’s laughter he prepared for the worst. “Your finished Kaiba! For now I activate this trap card! Ultimate Offering! And By giving up my LP! I summon two Humanoid slimes along with Grand Tiki Elder! And once again! I sacrafice more of my life points to summon the great Winged Dragon Of Ra!” Now stepping back in fear, Kaiba began to panic mentally knowing Ra would destroy him as soon as it was summoned. Hearing thunder clap all around him Kaiba directed his head to the floor and despite his blindness saw his brother calling for help. “Mokuba….” Kaiba said. Now hearing the roar of the Egyptian God Card, Kaiba prepared to be destroyed however the darkness that Kaiba saw was suddenly parted. “Kaiba! This isn’t a regular duel! Think about it! Remember your past!” Now standing beside Yami Yugi was Yami Bakura whose Millenium Ring was giving off a brilliant glow which had dispersed the darkness Marik had used to blind Kaiba. “Yes Kaiba! Do as he said! Believe in your deck and not even the Marik’s Egyptian God Card can defeat you!” Now looking to Ra which he could see as clear as day, He took a step back in horror as he heard Marik announce “And I give up all of my Life Points except for one to increase Ra’s power even further! Now Kaiba! Prepare to be vanquished to the Shadow….. What!? NO IT CANNOT BE!” Suddenly three bolts of blue lightning descended towards the battlefield but before striking it combined into one. Forming in front of the Wing Dragon of Ra was the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. “Ha! Your pitiful! You expect that to stop me!?” Now Marik looked to Yami Bakura who was laughing “O No Marik, I’m sure he doesn’t expect that to beat the Winged Dragon of Ra but in this Shadow Game anything is possible!” “What!? This isn’t how this Shadow Game is supposed to work! I created it with the power of my Millennium Rod!” “You may have created it! But I have changed! Now Marik! This has become a battle of not only strategy and power! But a game of trust! Now how much do you trust your Winged Dragon Of Ra to defeat Kaiba! Especially with what is currently descending to the field!” Now turning away from Yami Bakura and Yami Yugi, Marik was appauled to see Obelisk the Tormentor with its wings flared out descending to the field. “I WILL NOT BE DEAFEATED!” Marik roared “RA DESTROY THEM!” Now Ra’s large jaws opened an a gigantic beam was launched fourth towards Kaiba’s two monsters and Kaiba simply laughed “Marik you are finished..” As the beam struck Obelisk, the great beast held it back with both of its hands and hurled it back at Ra causing the God to shatter and its pieces to disperse. “It cannot be…” Marik said just before the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon charged its attack and Kaiba shouted “Neutron Blast!” Now the Ultimate Dragons attack flew into Marik and his remaining life points were decimated. As the Shadow Realm around them began to fade, Kaiba took his cards from the podium which they were sat upon. Noticing Obelisk was there Seto turned to Yugi as Yami Bakura made his way from the room. Noticeing they were still in Kaiba Corp. headquarters Kaiba asked “… But How…..How did you know I was dueling him?! And who said I needed your help! Get out of my sight…and take Obelisk…. I haven’t defeat you for it…” “As you wish Kaiba… but I will gladly duel you for it any time you wish…”
