As part of a relaunch of the Transformers toy line and comic book series in the early 90's, classic Transformers episodes were re-released and revamped as "Transformers Generation Two." The differences between Generation One and Two were the episode formats. The beginning of the episodes had a nameless narrator introduce us to the Cybernet Space Cube, the "device" the episodes were shown in. The opening theme music was replaced with CGI images of Optimus Prime, G2 Ramjet, and other characters. Episodes commercial break intros and outros bumpers were changed into random CGI clips of TF characters and/or battle scenes. The Cybernet Space Cube opening and closing over the screen replaced the familiar fraction logo transition cut scenes.
Out of the 98 episodes of the Genertion One, 59 episodes were formatted into Generation Two. Below is a list of episodes that were formatted for the Generation Two line.
