My name is David Hancock.

I work as a post-doctoral research associate for the University of Manchester.

At the moment, I'm helping the Microrray Bioinformatics Group to develop software for large-scale gene expression analysis.

Previously, I worked with the Centre for Novel Computing on a variety of visualisation and high-performance computing projects.

I got married in 2000, I've tried to make my wedding photo-album more exciting by turning it into a game.

This year my wife and I are living in Barcelona. Last year we lived in Auckland. We are open to offers for next year.

I have written some mildly entertaining software for PDAs.

As well as being made entirely of mahogany and treacle, I am the curator of the world's largest web of lies.
