Romulus: Im a 21 year old male from Canada. I have been on IRC for about 5 years. Within that time period, I have come to known many different people. As a regular IRC user I have come to familiariaze myself with the way things work, such as how to maintain a channel, and using the services commands. I have seen people come, go, and stay. Some of them I miss dearly, others I probably won't see ever again. Although it would be really awesome to once again. Within the past two years I have also familiarized myself with IRC Scripts/Bots. My first script ever was IrcxMatrix. With that I gained alot of knowledge of working with them. From there, I started my own channels, had quite a few nicks and met more people. The first time I had ever used came to DALnet my mind was blown away with 'Services'. My first impression was, "Wow, this is so cool, I want my own channel" or, "Wow, I want to register a nick." I tell you, it was something awesome to see as a newbie IRC user. History: Originally founded in #Tr|via on DALnet on Thu 04/24/2003 05:44:42 GMT. Later on myself (Romulus) had lost the channel password so we moved the channel to what is now known as #Thunder_Bay_Trivia which was opened on Sun 02/23/2003 08:13:06 GMT. Also recently, I have stepped down from FOUNDER management and have given the channel to Zeus-n-Hera, who also host the channels trivia bot, TBTrivBot. They are really fun people to know.
Our channel was created naturally as an educational tool to enhance the minds of mIRC users local to Thunder Bay, as well as users around the globe.
Our channel does not have any real specific rules, except, respect others, do not spam, exploit, or harass other team players. Results in doing such of these will result in either a kick, ban, or you may be added to our AKICK list. Also, on the other hand, swearing is not permitted. The trivia bot will boot you, and if you repeatedly swear our ops will be forced to ban you from the channel until further notice.
