| Human Alliance | |
![]() |
The
Human Alliance is the most familiar
side in Warcraft III. It is a conglomeration
of Humans, Elves and Dwarves who had
all vowed the same vow; to rid and protect
the lands against the forces of darkness. Humans had raged wars and had the most experience in battling the Orcs in the past wars. |
| When the Orcs had gained power, the Human race realized that the coming battle could not be fought on their own, and alliance with the Elves and the Dwarves becomes a necessity for victory. As the youngest race in the Alliance, Humans had strived to be in line with the ingenuity of the Dwarves and the magical prowess of the Elves. The Human Alliance is aided by the Holy Light and the three races will not rest until all evil is vanquished from Azeroth. | |
| Orcish Horde | |
| The
battle between the Orcs and the Humans
had been recorded and retold in many
story books in the lands of Azeroth.
Known to be savage and inhuman, the
Orcish Horde was never seen to be a
docile and peaceful race. They came to Azeroth via a magical gateway, known as the Dark Portal, from the hellish world of Draenor and are forced to commit to battle with the Humans. |

| Not known to many, the Orcs were once a noble and peaceful society that preaches the Shamanistic Ways. All this changed when the Burning Legion, consisting of vile Demons, manipulated the Orcs in the invasion of Azeroth. Time after time, the Orcs keep trying to revert back to their old tradition and free themselves from the clutches of the demons. Now, the Orcs had gained strength slowly, breaking free of the demonical bonds and rekindle their ancient practices. | |

These
silent and dark elves were the first
to be awakened in the World of Warcraft.
This mystical nocturnal race was the
first to study magic and able to manipulate
and use it well to their advantage.
Sensing a strong presence of magic, the Burning Legion was drawn to Azeroth, resulting in a disastrous battle between them. |
| Through persistence and strong will, the Night Elves barely managed to banish the Burning Legion from this world. Though victory was theirs, their foolish ways in magic had resulted in their world destroyed and the decimation of their race. Since then, the Elves vowed not to meddle with magic, in fear that the Burning Legion might return once again. They secluded themselves from other races atop the holy mounts of Hyjal for thousands of years until now. Due to their dark and stealthy nature, the Night Elves are usually not trusted by the other races. | |
| Undead Scourge | |
| The
walking dead, this vile army is known
as the Undead Scourge. Their ranks are
filled with walking corpses, spirits
in agonies, men who had damned themselves
and magical but deadly entities. When their army passes by a town, death will surely be upon the townsfolk, and all is left are the decaying bodies and the rotten stench of death. |

| This race is created by the Burning Legion for one sole purpose; to cause maximum chaos and carnage in the lands of Azeroth before the invasion of the Legion. The undead is led by the Lich King, Ner'zhul, who resides in the icy land of Northrend. From there, he commands his armies to spread the plague of death to the lands, and his minions increases day by day with every town that falls to the Undead. Although the Legion controls his mind and spirit, Ner'zhul strives to free himself of this curse to command the army of his own. | |
