This is a picture of my current sea monkey tank. There are roughly 30 inhabitants (there are too many to count!) To see them close up just click the "Pictures" link.
So why the alternative sea monkey page? Well because sea monkeys are so numerous they are fantastic for experimenting on!! MWAHAHAHAHA. Also alternative because we are willing to do things to these critters others are not. If it might be interesting to see what rate hatchings occur in different salt water solutions, then we do it! All in the interest of science of course.
We don't mistreat our sea monkeys because if we did we would have to go out and buy some more and we don't have any money! So we keep them in only the best conditions for breeding and rear the young in separate tanks. Then the fun can begin! Some young will be kept for breeding whilst the others might have a new food tested on them.
Ultimately all we want to do is enhance a sea monkeys life. The information we learn from the experiments we conduct lets us help others. If we can find them an alternative food source then GREAT! If not then we keep trying until we discover something they enjoy eating.
Anyway thats enough from me, feel free to take a look around and try some of the experiments yourself.
