Ghosts

Ghosts are real. Too many people have the same story and the same advice to the point where it cannot be coincidental. Also, my old house was very haunted. Here's what I've deduced so far on the topic.

Certain people perceive them more than others, of course. My friend's theory was that there's lots of weird stuff we can't see all around us, all the time. Sometimes people can see some of it, thats all. That makes sense because ghosts generally always do the same repeatitive action. They don't really seem to change, and I think they don't know they're dead. They'll always walk down the same hall or sit by the same window. It's like a memory you can percieve. It's leftover energy.

They often stand in corners of rooms, with a single motion like swaying from side to side. They'll be barely visible during the day or with the lights on, maybe as a vague fuzzy shadow, but as it gets darker they get more clear. Undoubtably a person who notices a ghost like this in their room will be unable to stop looking, unable to tell if the ghost can really see them, and they'll be afraid of looking away. If you look away, often they will rush at you and then disappear.

Ghosts look opaque and real, but kind of dream-like as well. They look a bit like TV static.

Generally, the more you fear them or believe in them, the better you are at percieving them, and the more they fuck with you. It's best to stay calm, aknowledge them but don't really react. Usually music, sound, and activity sort of keep them away.

Ghosts, being weird energy, often mess with electronics. In my old house, which was haunted as fuck, electronics never worked. Food decayed really fast, and it was always cold.

If you feel someone walking behind you and you know there isn't anyone alive, step off to the side for a minute and let them pass you.

Do not place two mirrors so that they face each other in your room. For some reason ghosts are drawn to mirrors and doing this REALLY creates a problem. Also don't have one at the foot of your bed, facing you while you sleep.

As far as I know, there are no happy or "good" ghosts. It's intense left over energy... and happy energy usually isn't intense enough to have a such a powerful, lasting effect.

You're most vulnerable to them when you sleep. They may give you bad dreams, or wake you up in the middle of the night with some horrible vision which disappears after a few seconds. My sister woke up to seeing a man leaning over her, his face inches away from hers. Then he disappeared. She didn't sleep again for a while.
