Ignore the first few panels of text up there. In fact, start paying attention where it says Ned, Nill, Bob, and Joe live in Moleside. Everything else up there is no longer true. This is the first time it's mentioned that Cruton lives in a drainage ditch, and the first allusion to Baggy Brigadier, who has captured our hearts and souls. ![]() I have it on good authority (ie-the human counterpart of Cruton) that the Holy Rollers handle snakes. This is the only church in Moleside, which explains why there was a cultist cave near Mike P's Resort. (See Count Pikachu for details on that.) ![]() The kid is named Toddo. He was another planted seed that never grew. Or, should I say, hasn't grown yet. Heh heh heh... ![]() Jerald is always changing the way he does spells. Oh, this is the first appearance of Double O. Double O can currently be seen in AOMP, alongside Mike P and Cruton. ![]() In case you're wondering, all the backgrounds for Mike P and Cruton in Moleside are from "Harvest Moon" for the Super Nintendo. Moleside itself is from "Chrono Trigger". The inside of Toddo's house is the inside of Ness' house from "EarthBound". I'm telling you this because there's nothing special about the above comic. ![]() Who was that small mammal, anyway? I love how he's riding an eggshell in the seventh panel. I think that's nifty. ![]() The Easter Bunny's text should be first in the fourth panel. Also, the title stems from the fact that this went up a month after the previous installment. I don't remember why, really. |

CANON
FODDER:
The changes proposed in the Canon Fodder section of "Bill and Fred's Nonexcellent Adventure", "Count Pikachu", and the Shorts, and "Ice Climbers Do Whatever" still apply. Pikapunk was never a Pikachu, Bob and Joe are Jerald-like creatures, Ned is a potato bug, Nill is a bird, and Mike P is not a Kirby. I cannot stress this enough, he is not a Kirby. Now to get down to business. After the fight against Xuxim
and Kurlog, Mike P and Cruton decided to give Moleside a visit for
nefarious purposes. Well, Mike P decided to visit it for such things.
Cruton just tagged along. The purpose: STEALING EASTER!
Back to topAs their task was one of holiness, their first stop was the only church in Moleside: the Church of the Holy Roller. Within the church, Mike P and Cruton were set upon by snakes and they quickly fled. After they healed from the snake bites, they decided to pay a visit to a young man named Toddo. Toddo, now, is a smaller Jerald-like creature, such as Bob and Joe. Toddo, taken aback that such strangers would enter his house, was even more put-off by the fact that Bobo had woken up and followed Cruton to Moleside. However, Toddo's pureness off-set Bobo, and the brute left. Mike P and Cruton were still intent to steal Easter, and forced Toddo to cough up the goods. This he did, and the ploy worked at a myriad of other houses as well. After one of the houses, the pair decided to take a break from their crime spree and visit Moleside's famous park. However, there to stop their spree was a paladin named Double O. Mike P summoned Jerald to defeat Double O, which the gnome did quite readily. After Jerald trapped Double O in a magic cube, Mike P and Cruton continued their spree. At this point, Cruton's conscience got the better of him. Mike P's did, too, but he had come too far and wanted to steal a holiday far too much to stop now. He offered to carry the sack of stolen goods, and together he and Cruton went to look at their loot on Xuxim's mountain. However, once arriving, Mike P tripped on a small mammal (the small mammal was looking for someplace to build a house) and their ill-gotten goods were destroyed. As if being caught in a tsunami of yolk wasn't enough, Toddo had contacted the Easter Bunny and led the fabled creature to Mike P and Cruton. The Easter Bunny entrapped the pair in chocolate and Toddo took them home. An important note: Toddo no longer has a mother, but lives with a politician in Moleside. Most likely Juan Curtis Lizard. At this point, the mayor of Moleside, Cedric B. Willickers put forth a law that Mike P, Cruton, and Jerald cannot live within five miles of each other. Jerald took residence in Moleside, Cruton returned to his ditch, and Mike P went back to his resort. That's the end of the sprite comics. What happened in the gap between the end of this story and the beginning of AOMP? That is a story for another time... at some point soon, the revised stories of BFNA, Count Pikachu, the Shorts, Ice Climbers Do Whatever, and How Mike P Stole Easter will be written and put somewhere. Hey, maybe we'll even publish it through CafePress or something. Heh heh. Heh. It's been a real pleasure doing this. I hope you, too, have enjoyed the Retro AOMPs.
