Salvation Ship

The salvation ship is loading
Gleeful Christians are boarding,
Soon to weigh anchor and sail away,
Bound for Heaven's eternal days.

A one way journey the voyage will be
And the fare is paid for you and me,
Jesus died on the cross at Calvary
To ensure safe passage to eternity.

A crew of angels will tend the ship
As Earth's mortal bounds we slip
Sailing on sky ship to golden shore
To dwell in God's Paradise evermore.

The captain is our Lord and Master
That sails us to the hereafter,
An archangel will be at the helm
Steering to God's heavenly realm.

A filled trunk you will not need
As God's breath gives us speed,
Crossing will be as the blink of an eye
To our Promised Land in the sky.

Soon the gangplank will be raised
And we're standing by to be amazed,
Astonishment and wonder are in store
As we sail away from troubled shores.

At journeys end our ship will moor
Just outside Heaven's door
Then pearly gates will swing wide
To welcome new angels inside.

GOD'S PROMISE

We never know when God will call,
But from His love He calls us all.

It's a wonderful feeling,
to have such a Friend,
to know that He's there,
And it's not just the end.

When life is all spent,
we'll be with Him there,
for of His mansions in Heaven,
He said we would share.

Now we'll be there with Him,
as we all WILL some day be,
and our eyes will be opened,
To the wonders of God for all to see.

Our souls will be called,
from this worrisome world,
by God in His wisdom,
Now that our life is unfurled.

It's a blessing to know,
that our days are all passed,
and like all of God's children,
We'll be in Heaven with Him at last.

It's a comfort to know,
when life's mission is ore,
that God in His wisdom,
Gives peace, there's misery no more.

Our soul does not die,
It's in God's hands for ever.
God gives us this blessing,
So life's end will be never.

The Sunflower

It stands in the garden border,
So elegant and tall,
The lovely yellow sunflower,
The happiest flower of all.

It loves to hold its head high
Towards the Heavens above,
For it knows that God is watching
And tending it with love.

A lesson can be learned
From this gracious yellow flower,
It doesn't question how it grows,
But trusts God's wondrous power.
