His Teaching By the Shore

He sat on the rocks to teach and to preach,
His words and stories for us all to learn,

This man who could explain everything about love,
A teacher to many , He was sent from above,

Yes, here comes Jesus walking along the shore . . .
With peace in his heart and so adored,

They came in crowds to listen to what He said,
To hear of the kingdom of God, and break bread,

So many followers felt his great love,
Listening attentively to the Son of God from above.

Many days He walked by the shore to His people,
Just to sit, and explain and tell of the miracles,

The glory of God's kingdom that is right at hand,
This man so many followed was on this great land,

From all that He taught, we learned from what was written,
So mankind could be saved and lifted to Heaven.

And when He spoke, He called each one of them by name,
They repented from their sins and became whole once again,

Imagine that!
