ANNIVERSARIES EVERY DAY

Anniversaries are for
others,
For to me we get no older,
Than the day we met that summer,
And our lives together we would shoulder.
You are still that pretty little girl,
As on that day we met.
In my eyes you'll never change,
And for eternity there will be no regret.
A tender love as our's has grown,
Through these so many years.
Oh yes - we've had our sorrows and sadness,
And together we've shared some tears.
My life with you has been God's blessing,
That on me He did bestow.
Together our lives have flourished,
Like no other - no one will ever know.
Not only are we lovers,
But friends we'll always be.
Together we show our love and friendship,
For all in Heaven and on earth to see.
