Again

I've seen
the lovely falling snow
and felt the soaking rain
I've seen the hot and
barren land
bring flowers once again.
I've
touched a little fevered brow
of a baby ill and in pain
yet saw it smile a crooked
smile
when it was whole again.
I've
slipped my arm around a friend
whose tear drops fell like
rain
then watched her as she
wiped them away
as peace she had regained.
How it
all happens, I don't understand
Yet inside I can't retain
how miracles come and
miracles go
yet I know it will happen
again.
The
biggest miracle I do believe
that I never can explain
is how my black heart was
washed in red
and now its clean again.
(it doesn't matter how it happens, just that it happens)
