at one point i was sure in myself that i would be remembered for ages to come and would have quotes that i had once said written in agenda books accross the world in over 40 different languauges so to save myself from having to come up with quotes on the spot i tried to think some up and put them in a little notebook so i'd have bunches of quotes at the ready ... like a quiver full of arrows.i'd go around for days trying to think up witty rhymes and plays on old cliches like "we don't see a light after the tunnel only tunnel after tunnel"as one iraqi general put it ... and after about a week of toiling i only cam up with two that satisfied me (back then - now i regard them as utter rubbish) ... the point was is that i was so prepared for being famous and well repected - i planned what i would do with my money and what i would say and do , but i never had a plan to become that famous self . i was just looking for the fame and none of the work . and looking back on that i see how shallow i was and still am and i see that i obnly wanted what everybody else wants , respect , recognition , and Acceptance (capital was intentional) and most of all i want all these things without earning them .thats the golden key. |
