Majik Monkee's Star Wars Customs

Welcome to my Star Wars customs page. I'm pretty new to the customization scene, but I have managed to crank out a couple of figures. Nothing on this page is for sale, just for looks. Pleae note that I'm no web site designer, so this page is VERY basic - just what it needs to be to display a few pics. Feel free to email me with any questions or comments - I'd love to hear from you! I'm at: matthewmdmerrill@yahoo.com

501st Clone

Created using a Revenge of the Sith Tank Gunner clone. The paint shade was a little lighter than I'd hoped for when it dried. I made another using a jetpack clone and some darker paint, which looked a bit more accurate.

Utapau Clone

This was a custom paint job done on a quick draw Revenge of the Sith clone trooper before Hasbro produced their Utapau clones.

I actually made two of the Utapau clones. I created them with the intent of giving one of them to my brother, who collects clone variations.

Desann (Jedi Outcast)

Desann was created using an OTC Myo figure and a Sebulba from an Episode 1 Cinema Scene pack. Sculpey was used to create the chest armor and shoulder pads. This was my first custom that involved cutting up figures and baking sculpey to them.

Desann with a lightsaber. Note I didn't add the little spiked ball to the saber hilt. I didn't want to sacrifice my only Darth Maul half-saber for the custom (the Myo figure I used was the only one I owned).

Reborn (Jedi Outcast)

This is one of the Reborn duelists from Jedi Outcast, as the name would suggest. I used a Throne Room Dule Luke Skywalker figure as a base, and gave him a hood made of sculpey. I never liked the pose or facial expression of the original figure as Luke, but for a Reborn it works rather well.

Reborn from a side view. I actually prefer the way he looks with his arms raised a "click", but I forgot to adjust him before I started taking pictures. You get the idea.

Then of course, we have Desann and the Reborn pictured side by side. All that's missing now is Kyle Katarn (not really, though, I do own his figure).

That's it for now! Thanks for visiting!
