The Easiest time for me to ski is the week between Chirstmas and New Year's. I took advantage of that time this year and went skiing in Colorado. You can click on any of the pictures to see larger ones in a new window.

Here I am at the top of one of the tree peaks. I am not sure which, they all looked the same after a while.

The view from this spot was great. This picture doesn't do it any justice.

My least favorite thing is riding the lift. But the scenery can be great.

Wouldn't you know it, The camera is on me and I eat snow. All I was doing was standing there...no, really! It was an icy spot, just steep enough to slide me several yards before I could get up.

Moments later, as I regain my composure. You know that happened right underneath the lift. I felt like that Austrian ski jumper who wiped out over and over and over agin on "Wide World Of Sports" every Sunday. You know, the "agony of defeat" guy?

OK, I'm ready to ski now.

I really enjoyed the town of Breckinridge itself. Very nice little town. And the best I can tell, not a bad place to eat anywhere (except on the slopes). The food here rates a ten, easy.

Here I am on the last day. I did not actually get a chance to eat at Bubba Gump's. But I always make it to the one on Maui at least once a trip.

Well, that was my winter vacation. It was a blast...well except the week I went is the busiest time of the year for the ski resorts. CROWDED! And I was just getting over a serious flu. And my room's thermostat would not shut off. Making it VERY hot and VERY dry, even with the window open. And the travel between the airport and the resort sucks. Other than that it was great:)

Take me back.
