In 2002, Nintendo released its most powerful console to date, the Nintendo Gamecube, which produces 128bit graphics which is the first console it has made that runs games on discs as all previous consoles ran cartridge based games (which were more expensive).  The Gamecube also boasts online gaming capabilities which allows players to interact with other Gamecube players from around the globe, one of the most popular online games is Phantasy Star online 2 a game created by Nintendo’s once upon a time arch rivals in the gaming industry, Sega.

Metroid Prime

The finest Gamecube game by far to date, pick it up for around £25 - £30.  Spectacular graphics quality, amazing game play and itself is a reason to own a Gamecube.

 

Resident Evil

The most horrifying game to date and unmatchable graphics using pre-rendered backgrounds.  The controls maybe a downside but this game is very scary and very good, It must been played.  Play as Jill Valentine in a haunted mansion filled with Zombies who just want to feast on you; uncover facts about what went wrong in the mansion.  Can be picked up for an impressive £15.

 

Burnout 2

The finest racing game to touch the Gamecube yet play to unlock new fierce cars.  Earn speedups by racing against oncoming traffic, test your vigilance as a driver as crashing will cost you time and your position.
