My 1988 AMC Eagle- One of 2306

Seeking a reason to be:
In late 1979 American Motors began selling a new car to the American market. Americas first full production full time four wheel drive passenger car. This car is of course the AMC Eagle. Production lasted until 1987 with the last 2306 being titled as a 1988 car. While cars from the 1980s are not yet view as muscle due to emmissions and not often worth 'ricing' due to weight (and lack of bolt on spoilers for these years) they have potential to be something more. The Eagle has a big I6 and enough room to squeeze in a V8 for the motorvated. Not to mention, in stock form you are hard pressed to find a better snow car or truck period. I'm one of those odd balls that loves this car and have created this site to share my experiences and projects with these cars. I hope you gain something worth while.

For any of you that truely do have a passion for AMC Eagles and are struggling with finding the information you need to keep your bird flying I highly recomend joining a web forum. I'm personaly a member of AMC Eagle nest and have found the other members to be very friendly and extreamly helpful. Good luck guys and gals!

Soon to come: Half this site will be dedicated to the Rambler Marlin I'm hoping to get.

Stories with an Rambler

A really hot guy (me by the way) and his really hot car

My first Eagle was a 1984 Wagon that was a piece of junk. I paid $300 for it because I really wanted an Eagle. Well I didn't waste any of that money because even though the car itself was junk it took my passion for Eagles to a new level and provied a subject for my automotive learning experiences! I strongly encourage anyone interested in cars without a background in them to try such an approch. The only thing I regret is parting her out in the end and sending her to the scrap yard, she could have made a great project car (think fast... or at least try).
