Down Below are a few misc. shots of the 12 inch snowfall. It has also been very cold at night. Last night (Jan. 13th) it was 3 degrees. A warmup and meltdown should happen this weekend. We have been cooped up in the house for a week now. The new Homeowners Assn. is not formed yet, hence no road plowing or salting. Way too dangerous to attempt driving out on ice even with a four wheel drive. We are starting to wonder, which is worse, running out of food; booz; or toilet paper. They are all pretty important.
This is by far the worst winter since we have been in North Carolina. 2011 is our ninth year.
Well, we still have our power on, so we have heat, Dish Network, and internet service and for now, plenty of food. If we run short, Sonja offered us some of her Kibbles & Bits. If anything exciting happens, we will pass it along. That's all for now, stay warm.
