Goa has one scuba dive area - Grande Island, about 8 km off Bamolin (the airport). The dive centre is the PADI accredited Barracuda Dive. Great guys and this is their boat on the way to diving. The diving is not brilliant. Plenty of fish but visibility generally only 3 to 6 metres. There is a 1954 wreck which attracts lots of fish.

Another dive site from Goa is the island of Netrani, 18 km off Murdeshwara. The island is a navy bombing target so you need to make sure it's not being used when you dive!! Visibility is excellent, 10 to 15 m and the fish life extensive.
