This site tried to make the point that a web site needs:
- Effective content that is interesting, possibly written by a communications specialist who understands your core audience and what they want.
- Graphics that create flavor and atmosphere on the website.
- An Interesting Layout that displays the data.
- To have information accessible within a few clicks from the home page, and avoids long pages that require a lot of scrolling.

The website mainly says that a website should be created for the audience. In general audiences don't want to be bored, so a webpage should also be interesting. Having a professional writter, or artist design the webpage and then code it can make the webpage more interesting. Letting the CEO write the webpage can make it very boring.
