Hello e-travelers. Welcome to Task1-Home. I am Alex Marvin, and my programming will be guiding you through your stay here.

As one would have just read, my name is Alex Marvin and I attend Wayzata High School. I am very interested in web page design and am currently taking a class involving these skills. Using HTML coding i have generated this site.

Programming seems to be a very good place to start a career, since people are incompetant and don't know how to use computers so they pay people tons of money to do it instead. If you know how to program, it's easy for you, but hard for everyone else.

I'm unsure about what I want to do when I grow up, but with HTML/JAVA programming to fall back on I can concentrate on other things. Things Like Science and math greatly interest me, but I fear that a career in Mathematics may not bring in enough money unless I was "ultra-genious and god of all that is and ever will be." The sciences could hold a fulfilling career, because everyone wants a new pill for them to be relieved of some pain.

To search the Internet for Expert sites I used Google.com and searched for "Effective website stratagies." I know that Dragon Scale Design presents useful guidelines because they actually construct websites. Webbonanza.com provides many sites that help people with programming effective sites and makes effective sites itself.

Webpages that are effective seem to have easy access. For every link they have in an image map, or tool bar, they have the same link in text in the page. If people can't find links or information they can't, and won't, use your site. High quality graphics, but not too complicated layouts are always good.
