HERBAL MEDICINE MS DATABASE

Welcome to the database that contains all of my knowledge. Or it will eventually, anyway. Most of the knowledge here has been gleaned at least in part from Jim Duke, James Snow, Claudia Wingo, and/or Kevin Spelman, my instructors at the Tai Sophia Institute, where I am studying for my M.S. in Herbal Medicine.

After awhile, I realized that the information was seriously piling up - between the herbs we learn in Materia Medica, the dysfunctions and diseases we learn about in Biomedicine in Herbal Therapeutics, and, frankly, all the tutoring I do in various other subjects, it's begun to make sense to me to cross-reference all of this information in some way, shape or form.

Needless to say, I absolve myself of responsibility for how this information is employed or interpreted. It is here for me to be more organized, and hopefully for you to enjoy! However, I am not in the business of delivering medical advice to people I have not even seen. Besides all that, I am a starving college student. I assure you that any attempts to sue me will be frustrating for me, and fruitless for you.

All of that said, this website is new as of the second of November, 2005. Most of the links will not work yet, and the site searcher still has bugs. Right now, the only thing here is a list of the plants which will eventually be described herein. For each plant listed, there will be a file describing its actions and indications and such, hopefully with pictures to make things prettier. However, I need to obtain permission from my teachers before I quote them, so I expect this to be a long time in the making.
