 | No sparring is allowed at any time without supervision of an
instructor. |
 | For safety, students should not wear rings, watches, bracelets,
chains, or earrings during sparring classes. |
 | Finger and toe nails must be kept neat and trimmed. |
 | Male groin protection must be worn at all times. Female groin
protection is not required, but recommended. |
 | Sparring between students is not allowed at white belt. White belt
students are allowed to participate in class drills only. |
 | Sparring gear may be purchased at yellow belt. Only students with full
protective equipment will be allowed to spar each other. Sparring
equipment consists of forearm guards, shin and instep protectors, kicking
boots, helmet, chest protector, groin protector for males, chest
protectors for females, and mouth guard. |
 | Testing at Green Belt and all belts ranks above will also include
sparring. |
 | Level of allowable contact is determined by the Instructor. |
 | No strikes to the groin or open areas of the face are allowed. |
 | Never strike to injure your training partner. Good control must be
exercised at all times. This also includes emotional control. |
 | In the event of accidental injury, notify the instructor immediately. |
 | There will be no contact above the shoulders or the groin, only light
contact to the headgear is permitted. |
