She started off the school year without a clue of how to use the magical abilities she was born with because her parents refused to teach her magic outside of school to ovoid conflicts with the ministry of magic. So, do to her lack of skills in the art of magic, Weegie, despite her age, was kept back from the higher grades along with a number of other students with same dilemma as her. In the boat over to renowned school, Weegie made her first friend, Cimber Metallus. He had difficulty pronouncing her last name, but she didn’t mind much considering the fact that Disfitifou (name used at time) was extremely hard to pronouce. Later on, Weegie learned (through letters from her mother) that her father had been killed by a dark lord. It was unknown which dark lord (or whether or not this stranger was a follower of you know who) but fearing for the life of her daughter, her only child, Jenievan threatened to pull Weegie out of Hogwarts in order to be tutored at home. Weegie refused, assuring her mother that she would be fine at Hogwarts (for what place is safer) and that her father would have wanted her to further her education of the magical arts. She kept her father’s death a secret from everyone, staying optimistic knowing that their were children at Hogwarts who didn’t have any living parents at all. One of which was a friend she met during her second year, Aura. They became close friends but started to drift when well-known death eaters escaped from Azkaban and raided Hogwarts, injuring many students, teachers and magical creatures in their wake. Finally having enough, Jenievan took Weegie out of school against her will. Few students knew or know students knew of her mother abducting her (including Aura all of close relations - - see list near top of page) and eventually people just thought she had become one of the ‘missing’ students abducted by the dark lord. It was when she was in her mother’s charge that she learned of her father being a Veriflo, a group of people set on killing and capturing dark lords, like the order of the phoenix but smaller in size and more underhanded in that they killed more then they captured. After Voldermort’s fall, he retired, changing his last name from Averstone to Disfitifou so that his family would be safe from any dark lords seeking revenge. But his fame as a Quiditch player attracted attention to him and he was ambushed and killed on his way home that night. Now knowing of the cause of her father’s death, Weegie vowed to get revenge for her father and become stronger so that her mother wouldn’t have to worry herself. So, in the night, while Jenievan slept, Weegie set off for Hogwarts with a small suitcase of clothing. But, during the night, the dark lords seeking the destruction Averstone family found the Disfitifou house at long last, murdering Weegie’s mother in her sleep. The young Ravenclaw, not knowing of this, arrived at Hogwarts with no difficulty. In honor of her father, she switched her name back to Averstone. Currently she is concentrating on improving her dueling ranking and knowledge of spells so that she can one day take her fathers place as a Veriflo and get revenge for his murder. Soon she will learn that she’ll need to get revenge for both her parents and not just one… ~To be continued!
