MoorGate Farms raises purebred Icelandic sheep and their fleece is some of the loveliest I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They work their farm in the Midwest by horse-drawn implements only, and therefore have no time to build and maintain a website. In the spirit of friendship between those who pursue "old time lifestyles", we offered them space on ours so people could browse through the fleeces and hopefully buy them.
Near Perfect Fleeces
These have been designated as near perfect....almost no veggie matter and all the belly, leg and crotch wool heavily skirted off.

No Tag (lamb) - Chocolate/Black 1.2 lbs, $13
These fleeces have little to no VM; they are very light in lanolin and clean very easily. Phil is a very prompt, courteous shepherd who answers emails promptly and guarantees his product.
