Early Years

• Swimming
  I swam for like 9 years of my life, starting at age 3 with lessons 
  (we all remember those days, huh?) and going to 10 or 11. You'll see why I quit if 
  you'll keep scrolling down. My favorite coach was Uhla. She was one bad mother. 
  But she was still the best coach I ever had. Hard to imagine huh? That or Robert, 
  the ex marine. Good times, good times. One week under him and 
  we were in the best shape of our lives.  
  
  Gymnastics 
  I participated in gymnastics when I was like 4. Yeah, thats about all I got on that 
  subject, pretty lame, huh?.
  
  
  Soccer
  Soccer was pretty big for me. I did that from like 5 to 8. I was decent at it, 
  but I got bored with that soon too.
  
  T-Ball
  T-Ball, softball, its all the same to a 7 year old. 
  I played first base mostly, even though we didn't have 'set' positions. 
  Good times, good times. But that got dull to. {Are you seeing a pattern yet?}
  

At Home

I spent most time with my brother {3 years older} and his friends {all guys; mostly the neighbors}. We played football, baseball, war, etc. {you know, the regular guy-type stuff} which probably explains why I'm so messed up today. When my brother's boy-scout troop came over, I would want to be with them a lot. I had friends at school that were girls, just not good friends. But my best friend is a girl, and back in the day 2 of my other best friends {you know how in 1st and 2nd grade you had more than 1 best friend... well I did} were guys. Good times.

Todays Life

Today I play tons of volleyball. I started playing volleyball when I was like 7 and haven't stopped playing since. Thus far I've played for 2 different clubs and 2 different schools {one of course being RVHS}. Its been great fun. You should give it a try sometime. Thus far I've been a middle hitter/blocker, setter, outside hitter/blocker, right side, and I think thats it. I haven't been a defensive specialist {and wouldn't want to be}.

"I did have a test today. That wasn't bullshit. It's on European Socialism. I mean, really, what's the point? I'm not European, I don't plan on being European, so who gives a crap if they're socialist? They could be fascist anarchists, that still wouldn't change the fact that I don't own a car. Not that I condone fascism, or any ism for that matter. Isms in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon: "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me." A good point there. Of course he was the Walrus. I could be the Walrus, I'd still have to bum rides off of people." -Ferris
