Pentwyvern is an independent Kingdom that is home to a safe, cheap and fun sport in where participants wear medieval or fantasy themed clothing and fight with padded weapons. The fighting is hard and fast and has, over the years developed its own style of martial art. The rules are easy to learn and after a few practices you will be hooked. Our kingdom interacts with kingdoms from the national fighting groups of Dagorhir™ and Belegarth , and participate in their events.
What if I don’t want to fight?
There are many members of the Kingdom of Pentwyvern who non-fighters, such members can play a crucial role and still actively participate in any event without fighting. Non-fighters can learn to become Heralds (combat referees), take part in hosting and/or coordinating events preparing feasts, as well as participate in many other aspects of this game/sport. Many noncombatants form guilds to make weapons, jewelry, garb and other medieval and fantasy-type goods for others within Pentwyvern. Some of our noncombatants are too young for the battlefield. Children who have been known to grow up participating with Pentwyvern have learned off-battlefield fighting skills (sparring with more seasoned fighters), make friends with almost everyone within the sport, and most grow up to become combatants themselves. Pentwyvern is a family friendly kingdom, encouraging all the members of the family to participate in one-way or another.
