 Darien Knights Coat of Arms July 25, 2001- A New Home.... Author Lord Raziel As you all know are Time was against us and so was Homestead.com. However they didn't count on us having a backup plan. Sir Viper and I decided to move the site back here to our natural home, DK.com. I have been switching over the information from thee old site slowly since we learned of the changes in Homesteads policy. Now that I have most of the information switched over with a few things here and there that needed to be added, we are free again from the hands of death. If you haven't already noticed that the menu is at the top of your browser , then take a peek ,its customizable java script. I can change the color, size, position, font, add p graphics, and downloadable links. Man that's a mouth full. So if there's something you don't like, or something you do like contact Sir Viper or Lord Raziel and well get right on it . In the next couple of days I will be adding a page with different test menus so you can decide which you like better. Well I think that's it for now, time to go back to work. Lord
Raziel __________________________________________________ July 18, 2001 - The Future Dawns... Author: Sir Viper This is it, the next Realm of the Darien Knights. Not quite done yet, but we've got all the important stuff. The nifty logo in the top left, the intro provided by the one and only Valcrow, Links sidebar, and of course, the News. Now, there is one problem which we need worked out. To the left is the Nav Bar, you see the Darien Knights' Logo, a little red line, and a series of swords with words on them. If you put your cursor over the red stripe, a Nav bar will emerge (neat effect, huh). And below that is the non-functional swords and words. We don't know which one to use, and that's where you come in. YOU will decide which Nav Bar we use and which we oust. I'm hoping to get a Poll on the matter but for now, just post on the Forums your answer, accessible via the stripey Bar. And remember, your vote counts. :) And on a more minor note, I have been promoted to Co-Webmaster, that will be all. Sir
Viper __________________________________________________ June 25, 2001 - More War Stories... Author: Supreme Admiral Sir Viper has put up part five, six, and seven! Amazing isn't it? And in these parts he has a lot of action. From karate kicks to cut-throat theives, his parts are action packed! Wolfrug has also put up his third part to "Gorgeth's Battleaxe" and it is in such detail you can almost smell the poison on the blades. Wolfrug represents the monarch of Zhon admirably and his story is progressing wonderfully. All things considered, the Solaris stories are shaping up to be a great batch of entertainment. Still thirty-six more more days until the end of Solaris. Supreme
Admiral __________________________________________________ June 21, 2001 - News for today... Author: Supreme Admiral I just put up a new link in the links section. The link goes to "Acolyte's Shrine", another TA:K fan site. As for War Stories, I have put up part two of "Solaris VII: Fiery Waves". I''ve been told it has pretty good dialogue... but I have a habit of misinterpreting things, like magnifying glasses. I always thought they were used to magnify things, but obviously it's used for frying things, as shown by the Creonites. Maybe they should've called it the 'magnifrying glass'. "Gorgeth's battleaxe" is another outstanding story done by Wolfrug. He's put some exccellent work into it and the detail is stunning. Other than that I'm afraid there isn't any more stories. This is Supreme Admiral bringing you information on War Stories. The top
War Story News (WSN) is Somath's first post of his Solaris story. His
story sounds promising indeed, it has great intrigue so far. Also
Semetria has put up parts 1-3 of 'Sweet Revenge'. And there will be many
more stories than that I'm sure! This has been Supreme Admiral reminding
you that if you're out of inspiration, insult someone until their
retaliation gives you an idea. :-) __________________________________________________
This is Supreme Admiral with the war stories daily news. Sir Viper has
put up the fourth part of his Solaris story. He's pumping them out like
there's no tomorrow! Read them quick or he'll be done before you get
half-way through! Also MY story's first part is up! No action yet, but
it's got some great detail and explains some of the new gadgets I'm
getting. No other stories I'm afraid. Soon though, I reckon there'll be
tons of Solaris parts being put up in the Darien Knight new War Stories
forum! We hope you'll enjoy our many stories. __________________________________________________
Hi ya people, I almost deleted the entire site, homestead decided
not to save when I uploaded and evil things happened along the way...
but anyhow, if you are seeing this, then it means I either fixed it, or
it decided to co-operate... take your pick... __________________________________________________
Well I've still got some treats for you! I have added a nice new
pic and archived a few complete stories in the TA:K Stories section!

pages of the site have had their forum links updated for the new Forums
by me. Speaking of forums, a test color scheme has been put on the Forum
Chooser thingy. If you have any ideas or suggestions on the Forum color
scheme, simply post a reply on the new forum's General Forum under a
post made by me titled "First order of business." __________________________________________________
First topic, the minor maintenance, Lord Raziel re-linking and News
post inadvertently caused most of the buttons on the home page shrink
width wise. A similar problem happened when Valcrow posted his news.
Anyway, the buttons have been fully repaired. __________________________________________________ Thanks
to Dragonknight from Tak Warlords and Delozier from TAKMCC we have a new
forum and its free of annoying banners. It's an Ultimate Bulletin
Board..We owe thanks two these two gentlemen for helping us out. Thanx

2001-A spear plunges into the forums' Heart..... Author: Sir Viper On July 29th,
the forums will die at the hands of Center Wheel. No offense to Center
Wheel but its the truth. Coolboards, a sub-company of Center Wheel, will
no longer be providing forums. So, our forums are being deleted July
29th. As a result, we've already begun seeking a replacement forums to
take the dieing forums place in the Realm of the Darien Knights. All
stories are being archived so that none are lost in the switch as well.
The new forums will be up before the deadline(no pun intended) of July
29th. __________________________________________________ Today I put in
a new web poll titled "Sacred Dragons". You can place your
vote on it in the Hall of Honor. Also, to make more room for creativity,
I have extended the due date of the Solaris stories to July 31st. This
should give plenty of time for those devious little plot twists we all
love. Aren't I generous? :-) __________________________________________________ The Hall of
Honor has just gone through a serious update. I added quite a bit of
stuff so you can go check it out! Now by the end of June it should be
quite filled up with stories from the Solaris Contest and we'll be
boasting our first Champion ever! __________________________________________________ I have just

posted Temporal Alterations Part 20, indeed quite a landmark, I don't
think any story has gone on to a part 20. Anyway, "The Seige"
is in Part 4 and Atar(AKA Frost) has started "The Conclusion of
Frost". Supposedly, that story is the end of Atar's previous
character, Frost. __________________________________________________ First of all,
sorry for the lack of updates, hasn't been much News lately. In the Fan
Art section, Semetria has placed her latest piece of artwork, an
anonymous Dragon. __________________________________________________ I have

2001- The Solaris Tournament begins... Author: Supreme Admiral The Solaris Tournament has now officially begun. Click on the Blue Marble to the left of 'The Darien Times' above to view the introducton. __________________________________________________ Since there is
indeed a lack of updates because of a lack of normal news, I have
decided to start posting News on new parts of War Stories and which
stories have begun, stories with parts being added, and stories that
have ended, and maybe even upcoming stories. These can be found in the
forums, and finished stories can be found in the War Stories

here I go abusing my knowladge of knowing the password for the site...
:-) I used the online version of the sitebuilder this time, so I hope I
didn't kill the side bar again... anyway, I upped the unit making tool's
so that any of you still interested in making units and such can get
them, this includes the script editor, the cobber (script compiler), 3do
builder, hpi view, hpi pack, TDF edit and a 3do builer tutorial made by
me a very very long time ago... ok, so the real reason why I upped it
was because LR needs the utilities cuz he lost it during his time where
his computer exploded. :-) but now that its on the site, everyone can
get it! :-) Its in two convienently zipped files about 800kb each in the
downloads section. Happy hunting! __________________________________________________ Well the Old
Darien Knights webmaster has appeared and very pleased with the new and
improved site, He has wished to contact the remaining members and
discuss with them the circumstaces of his disaperance. __________________________________________________ The Zhon
Woodland Elf and the Veruana High Elf will soon be upgraded to version
0.9. I'm hoping to get this darn 3do to work on it and then spice it up
a bit. By the way, did I ever mention that it can cloak if you press 'K'
on your keyeboard? :-) Well it should be up within the week. I've also
added the description to the Zhon Woodland Elf and spiffed up the
description of the Veruna High Elf. Supreme
Admiral __________________________________________________ First of all,
I have completed the repairs on the Home page that Valcrow caused and
started to repair. The remaining errors were not major, but rather
annoying. The buttons have been corrected in size and where they go, the
Hit Counter should be fixed, and the bottom News Post shoud no longer be
blocked by the remnants of the Homestead frames. __________________________________________________ A new profile
has been added. Mine! It tells of the Shadows and Darklord's struggle to
survive. I am also currently working on a revision of my creation story.
As the other Darrien Kinghts know, my last one sucked. However, I have
written 3 short stories since then and have found that my talents have
increased. Even my Dungeon Master skills have gone up! Go read about the
most powerful Tarosian ally and gape in awe as I work on hs creation.
Snicker and feel my wraith. __________________________________________________ The valiant
warrior, Wolfrug of Zhon, has finally blessed our ears with the tale of
his quest for the magic banner of the Kandrans. You may read this
perilous quest in the Hall of Honor. __________________________________________________ This really is
not really worth mentioning, but I removed that annoying frame at the
bottom that said homestead. The white really didn't match the rest of
the site... :-) oh and in the process of doing so, my browswer crashed
as I was uploading and it killed the side bar... I sorta fixed it now...
sorta.. :-) Anyway, Im not really even suppose to be updating since I
retired a while back, but hey, what can they do...? :-) I'd better run

Page is hopefully more attractive now and easy to read. I will be adding
more profiles soon and I did have to shave, edit and fix the profiles
that some people put in themselves, for example: Sir Viper. Not only was
it in blue text, talking about Semetria and way too long but it bit me.
So I was forced to make it more presentable. __________________________________________________ We are now
affiliates of the Total Annihilation Kingdoms Mana Collection Center (TAKMCC).
Yes I do believe we're on the golden path toward glory, adventure, and

would like to say that I was the one who designed and made the Fan Arts
page, and that I asked the Supreme Admiral to link it up to the rest of
the site since I had to go somewhere. Also, I thought it necessary to
state what sites are currently on the Links page. Currently, we have the
TA:K Warlords, who have many units, maps, and utilities for all your
kingdoms needs. Another site is the Knights of Magic, these guys have
made more races than any other 3rd party site and have a large load of
units just waiting to be used. And the final site is Project Revival, a
site dedicated to restoring TA:K popularity, it was all the units that
Knights of Magic has(mainly because some of the Knights of Magic also
run the Project Revival), but it also has an extra race, more units, and
other things. Then there's TAKMCC, one of the biggest TA:K sites there
is, these people have good forums, almost every TA:K unit and map ever
made, and a reliable news system. Enjoy the sites, but don't forget

start of a grand quest to rid the world of evil and all things that may
spew fire onto an unwary hero... just to make things more interesting.
The Solaris tournament has begun! Hero's shall be tested for cunning,
bravery, skill, and all things that are righteous. Indeed it is always a
great honor to compete in these acts of daring, but if possible it is
even greater to sit back and watch! Now the audience can vote on what
danger lurks behind the corner! Indeed it will be an event to remember! __________________________________________________ I have
personally added my profile to the Profiles area as well as a couple
other things like the person's title. A few of them don't have titles
yet simply because I don't know what they are. But I will find out and
add them sometime in the near future. Sir Viper __________________________________________________ The Character
Profiles page will house profiles of every non-member and member on the
site. So far there are only a few people up there but more will be put
up soon. Atar __________________________________________________ The first map
of the site has been uploaded. It's called "Thirsha's Highground",
part of a Royal Fortresses Map group I've put together. It's an 1-4 vs.
1 Assault map, meaning that one person gets the base while the others
attack it. I still have 6 more which need to be uploaded but it may be a
while before I get to it. Also, the Shadow Drake, the first unit created
for the Darien Knights, has been added to the Zhon Downloads section.
The Shadow Drake is a Cloak capable Drake with a range of spells
including Shadow Spine, Paralyze Gaze, and Medusa Gaze. The Creon
Downloads section has been added but no units are available yet. Sir Viper __________________________________________________ Two units, the
Veruna High Elf and the Zhon Woodland Elf, are up for download! I'm too
tired to make a really snazzy description and icons and things so I'll
do it in the morning. Oh and as a side note since I just can't make a
news post this short, Drakard has been stuffed head-first into a fire
ant mound. Officials were unable to determine who vandalized such a nice
ant hill since the tool of this atrosity was unable to speak since his
head was swollen to the size of an elephant. The poor ants. :-) OH NO! I
abused the news! Help! I didn't mean it! Hmmm, somehow I know Drakard is
going to do something devilishly evil to me. ;-) Supreme

the islands of Veruna! Soon I expect to see all of you flocking to the
site now that Sir Viper has officially anounced its presence to you. Now
that I, the mighty Armada Commander of Veruna, can update this site you
can expect a number of new things! Including a beta test for two elven
units I'll put up soon. I just can't wait until I get the 3D object
working so I'll put it up as it is. Please feel free to suggest any
improvements in the unit making forum. Sorry about the 3DO but I just
can't seem to get it to work right. It'll just have the Mage Archer 3DO

have continued building the site and currently, I have added the forums
from the old site, and Downloads has been added. There is a list for all
the nations from TA:K but only Zhon and Aramon works at the moment.
"Temoral Alterations", a story I've been making for a few
months has been added to the TA:K stories section but it isn't a
complete story and really is onl there so I can test out how I'm going
to do this. Hit counters have been added to all pages as well. I still
plan on adding a Links page to show you people to other TA:K sites, and
completing several other aspects of this site, like adding graphics and
other tid bits. Sir Viper __________________________________________________ Today, marks
the first day of this website's life. The site may still be under
construction but this is the day that I first started the site. Not much
here yet today but soon more will come. Although at the moment, no one
knows about this site's existence besides me. But it didn't seem right
to not go ahead and put some sort of news out. I hope that in the
future, this site will become something grand, of course all webmasters
hope that. Well, currently the site has the home page done. But nothing
else. More will come soon though. Oh, and just to point out to you, the
