Never,Ever,EVER "rubber band" your cards and leave them somewhere
for a long time. It'll tear the card's edges.

Consider getting some of those card sleeves. The best kind to get are the
ones that are transparent at the back as well. (it's what I prefer actually)

never put your cards where they are in reach of a 0-4 year old. You never
know what they might do...

you want to, slap your cards down to forcefully whenever you should. it shows
that you're gonna win but !!! don't do this on a rough surface. your cards
will be scratched.

THROW IT INTO A DRAWER !!!! YAAAH!!! and the cards are scattered all over
the drawer...
