Doll Making Classes

I was never much into dolls as a child, even though my parents bought me the first Barbie doll back in the early 1950's. Mom was great at sewing and she made me tons of clothes for my Barbie. But, alas, the day she finished the last dress, was the day that I quit playing with dolls; I turned into a tomboy.

At first, I was just going to take this Doll Making class to learn some new techniques. Sounds simple, doesn't it? Well, starting the second day, when we actually start to make items, my interest started to grow. My curiosity grew. Was this how Dr. Frankenstein created his Monster? His curiosity growing with each passing experiment?

No matter what the reasoning, my love of dolls began to grow again. No longer did I have to settle for the "conventional" clothing and colors. I, now, could make my dolls look the way I wanted them to. I could make them fancy or plain, colorful or dull, with long hair or short hair. I could even make them look like fairies or elves, just by changing a few areas and clothing.

If you ever join GraphX, it is well worth it to take the classes. You learn something new with each and every class. And it never hurts to learn something new…*S*

I was going to list my daily homework, but desided against it. If you want to learn to make dolls, then you will need to take the class. Although, I am posting a couple sig tags that I made using my dolls.
