The Private Study

A Private Study
This room has plush gold carpeting, and ebony velvet drapes line the windows to the east providing a view of the gardens and stable yard. There is a fireplace on the north wall, and the black marble mantle is lined with unusual pieces of art, surely the result of House Sarand’s extensive travels, and history. There is a writing desk and a two chairs in the room, all along the south wall, and made of a very dark wood. The chairs are upholstered in black velvet on the seats and backs. The rest of the walls are lined with shelves upon shelves of books, and a large oval shape is cut into the floor, and lined with pitch-black railing, providing a view of the study below.
