The Ballroom
Ballroom
This large golden-lit ballroom, with Cathedral ceilings, and mirrored walls, is astounding by it’s sheer size, for the manor from the outside did not appear this large. The center of the ceiling dominates a crystal and gold chandelier that sends sparkles of light all about the room. Skylights in the room allow for sunlight to flood into the large room in the day, and for the stars to be seen at night, as well as providing some much needed venting. A soft breeze enters through these windows, and plays with the crystals on the chandelier making them twinkle high above the ballroom floor below. Large white pillars litter the edge of the room supporting the tall ceilings that are painted in scenes of Illuminator’s firework displays. The slick black and gold marble floor is scattered with dancing and laughing guests, as servants circulate the room providing refreshments from the kitchens. In the center of the floor dyed marble tiles are placed in a pattern that resembles the sigil of House Sarand. In the far corner a small band plays graceful music for the dancing guests. A set of glass doors lead to the dinning room on the west wall, and another set of doors on the east wall leads to the front room.
