Luna Derasnae grew up in the southern part of Saldaea, for the better half of eighteen years of her life. She had a mostly normal life her father Darmon was a farmer of one of Saldaea's famous crops the Ice Pepper, as well as a little bit of hunting for furs for his wife. Her mother Diedeadra was a seamstress, she took the few furs that Luna's father got and made them into warm clothing she also made some of the most wonderful clothes that anyone in the area had seen. But this life was not for Luna she never picked up on any of the sewing that her mother tried so hard to teach her. Instead she spent most of her life following her dad around, and trying hard to pick up every bit about hunting that she could, from the time she was eight till she was about thirteen she wanted to be a hunter and sell furs for a living. But all that changed once she was able to have some freedom, and she began to see the world, the local inn mostly, she liked to go there and talk to the local hunters. But one day as young minds are feeble, she found a profession that she truly wanted she wanted to be a Gleemen. She watched how the Gleemen attracted so much attention, and drew large crowds, so she began to observe the woman Gleeman's actions as much as she could. After the Gleewoman left town Luna began to pursue this talent as much as she could, she began to learn how to juggle the knives that her father gave her, and then also picked up on playing the harp, and she began to play for the local inns. Bored with the daily routine of life she set out to find a real Gleeman so that she could apprentice and become a full Gleeman. On her journey she spent a lot of nights camped out in the woods, and one night when it was time for her to put up camp she saw a camp fire already made up. Introducing herself to her strange company she told her life story to the man and woman in the campsite, and then they told theirs. Apparently they were both Wolfkin, and lived in the wilderness with wolves, Luna thought this a very odd thing, but kept listening, because perhaps someday she could tell a story about it. It is that night that she learned she could talk to the wolves herself, and she did talk to the wolves. Freaked out by the meeting with the Wolfkin couple she left early in the morning trying to flee from them, and the wolves she could now feel running through her head. The wolves aptly named her SingingFox for this, for she gave a performance they all could hear the night she stayed with the couple, then she snuck off in the morning or tried to, and fled ever since. Still in pursuit of her dream she came to Caemlyn, but by time she arrived at Caemlyn her eyes were already almost fully changed. And even though the heightened senses helped her to perform better, few people wanted her to perform because of the color of her eyes. In fact most people were afraid of her. But still she searches in pursuit of her dream.
