Deryeha de'Kainyia's Background

Deryeha grew up on a small farm East of Caemlyn, where they had a few animals, mostly cows and goats, but also some horses, which she quickly learned to communicate with. She had a normal farm girl childhood happy, but not with out its hard work. One day, when deryeha was five, her father was out feeding the animals, a snake spooked some of the cows they had, and the cows stampeded. Her father tried to get out of the way but failed, he was fatally wounded, but managed to stay alive. deryeha's mother took care of him and the farm, until she was too old to do so. By this time deryeha was old enough to take care of them, and was also her time to take care of the farm. She wasn't as good as her mother or father was at taking care of the farm, so some friends of the family would help her out from time to time, by helping her feed the animals or take care of the rest of the farm. But it was still almost too much for the girl, she tried to do her part, of raising money, by training horses for the locals, and she became well known for her skill. Every so often she had to travel to Caemlyn for her father's medicine, that is supposed to help with the pain. While she was gone on her last trip, a man had offered her a job as a horse trainer; she had to turn it down because she had to take care of her parents. She was then delayed in getting the medicine, to her dad and didn't get to him in time. He died while she was away in town. Her mom died shortly after, her failing heart couldn't take her husbands death. deryeha was very devastated, and felt very guilty, so she sold the farm to a friend of her father's that had helped her out before. She then left for Caemlyn to start over and to take that job that the man had offered her before. The man had her training horses, and delivering trained ones, to his three different stables, one in Tar Valon, one in Caemlyn, and one in Cairhien. One night she was racing against her own clock, trying to make it to Tar Valon, quicker than she had before, so rather than stop for the night, which would have been a safe and smart thing to do, she kept riding all night, she had spotted a deep canyon. And since she was in a hurry, she didn't bother to look for another way across, she took the first thing she saw, a rickedy old bridge, it looked very weak so she sent the horse acrossed first, and after the horse had gotten across safly she started to cross right after. Though she didn't count on the horse weakening the bridge more, and the right side of the bridge fell through, and her as well. She fell though not far, as she landed on a ledge not far down from the bridge. Though now it was out of her reach and if she didn't think of something quick she would be stuch down there, until she most likely died. Unconsciously she tapped into Saidar, and made the other half of the bridge fall, making it sink low enough that she could climb up onto it, and get out. A week and a half later after that incident, she had arrived in Tar Valon and was recuperating from the trip, her first wave of sickness hit her, an awful wave of dizzness that wouldn't let her get up to walk or nothing, accompanied with an extreme headache. The stable caretakers stayed by her side to take care of her till she felt better, which was about a few hours later, but even after she felt better, they would not let her leave tar Valon fearing that she would fall ill again while traveling back. So she stayed in town and had heard news about the Tower in need of a horse trainer, stuck in town, and in need of a job she went to apply for it.
