Background Information
I have some qualities that I am essentially proud of some these are listed below:
Since I have been raised in an Asian environment my parents always want me to do well in academics and studies thus I naturally have excelled in this area as even out of school my parents make me do a lot of extra curricular studies especially mathematics. My parents bring these books from India, so they are obviously based on the Indian Curriculum.
I also have excelled in piano as of now I am in grade seven. Every RCM exam that I have taken (1-6) I have achieved honors with distinction. I like to play in front of audiences and do not suffer from “stage fright” (not only in piano but also in any other performing art that I have a chance to engage in. I like to do drama and acting whenever I have a chance but I do not do it as seriously as I do piano.
One of the other hobbies that not only me but my family had is traveling. Since I was two we have been all over Europe, Asia and recently we have started to travel in the Americas. When I was still a toddler we went all over India as we had to take me to all the gods and pray to them as they had to wish me good luck.
I also play tennis seriously and was ranked 3 provincially in my previous age group (under 12). I try to play in as many tournaments as I can but this comes second in priority to my studies and piano.
Another sport that I enroll in is swimming, currently I am in aquaquest level ten as I recently passed level eight.
Some thing that I recently have become interested in is pool, as I not so long ago have got a pool table.
I also play a traditional Indian game called carom-board.
Some things that I would like to do in the future are golfing, table tennis, and as a career I would want to be a web designer or a software engineer.
