Daredevil
Daredevil was made merely to boost the hype of Marvel Comic movies coming to life. Most reviews I have read about it were on the negative side. I however, liked this movie a great deal. It was pretty accurate toward the comic book. It was fun and there was action. What then didn't I like about the movie you ask? 1) Ben Affleck. I just don't like him. I don't think he can act very well and I'm sick of seeing his face in everything. 2) The fight scenes were not very well coreographed. They need to take a lesson from Yuen Woo Ping to know what they are doing. It's like the camera man just shakes the camera around a bit to make up for the lack of the actors' martial arts abilities. 3) There is a bunch of story missing that leaves questions unanswered. Like, how did he become Daredevil? Where did he get all of his fancy costumes and weapons if he is a poor lawyer who works for free? 4) If loud noise hurts him due to his super human sense of hearing, why is that in the beginning when he wakes up he turns rock music on the stereo and cranks up up full blast. 5) How could Elektra mistakingly think that he killed her father. Did she simply just not see Bullseye hanging out there trying to kill her? Did she miss the whole fight between him and Bullseye as he was trying to save her life. And 6) Again lame ass lines. When he defeats the Kingpin, the Kingpin literally says "I may go to jail, but I'll get out and I'll get you now that I know who you really are?" Daredevil replys, "I'll be waiting." Kingpin might as well have said "You may have defeated me, but I'll be back to get you Daredevil, in the sequel!" Give me a break. For the most part, I liked Daredevil and it was entertaining to watch. If you are looking for some marvel action without too much effort put into it, check out Daredevil.
