In a renaissance of knights and wizards, castles and dungeons, dragons and vampires, a small dockside town was founded as a rest stop in the midst of long voyages. The town flourished into a city as it became the center of trade. As the town attracted more citizens, it was clear that a more formal government system was needed, but none stepped up for the task. Now a method for interdimensional travel has been devised, and modern technology floods in on a daily basis.
