You are led up the center Mountain and it soon starts to get colder. As you reach higher, Kim hands you a warm coat (obviously used to unprepaired visitors). You see a strange deer-like animal out of the corner of your eye, but when you turn around, it's gone...strange. Yet, it doesn't come as a surprise to you, so you don't say anything.
Eventually, you reach a flat area of ground with a cave at the back and a over-hanging cliff edge. The ground is covered with snow - you notice it has foot prints in it, large reptilian footprints- "It must be a good sized dragon" you whisper to yourself. You look around in anticipation, waiting to see it.
Kim makes a purring sound and then says something you can't quite understand, the only words you do recognize are Humanoid and Comet.
Then you see a big white and blue dragon fly down from above sending a blizzard of snow up as it lands beside Kim. She rubs and greets her dragon and then says somthings again in that strange tounge but this time you only catch the word "Drift".
Turning towards you Kim says (this time in a language you can understand) "Tristeller was my original Derraka but he has passed on." You hear a hint of sadness in her voice, but of course you can't see her expression. "In his place one of his and Glaceis Niaccia's eggs hatched into this little female. She reminds me so much of Tristeller."
"I decided to call her Comet because comets are both Icy, fly at amazing speeds and light up the sky.
Suddenly, what looks like a heap of snow, comes hurtling at you and you duck for cover. Kim makes a high whistling sound and the "snow" turns away and lands on her shoulder.
