The Pirates of the Caribbean was a wondrous adventure to take. Aspects of action, suspense, horror, comedy, and romance were entwined in this tale.
The story is about the cursed crew of the Black Pearl. Long ago, the crew had found Aztec gold. Blinded by their greed, they used it for rum and whatever thier heart had desired. They didn't heed the curse that was placed upon the gold by Aztec heathen gods until it was too late. They became the undead, a living hell for the ruthless Captain Barbossa [Geoffrey Rush] and his crew. The moonlight showed them for what they really were. And the only way to break the curse is to get every single piece of the Aztec gold, and shed the blood of the one who owns it.
Will Turner [Orlando Bloom]is a shy, sweet, blacksmith in the English Caribbean port of Port Royal. He deeply loves Elizabeth Swann[Kiera Knightly] since childhood. But there is one thing that Will does not know about Elizabeth. She had taken his medallion eight years ago--that medallion is the last missing piece of Aztec gold.
Captain Jack Sparrow, [Johnny Depp] arrives at Port Royal. On an outing, Eizabeth accidentally falls into the water, and Jack saves her. Because he is a pirate, his reward for his bravery is getting locked up.
That very night, the Blcak Pearl comes to the Port, for the pirates have heard the call of the last Aztec piece. They find Elizabeth, and take her aboard.
Enraged, Will pleas for Elizabeth's rescue. But everyone has given up hope, for no one knows where she is. In a desprate state, Will turns to Jack and both set out for the black Pearl to save Elizabeth. Little does Will know that he will rule the fate of them all.
I LOVED Johnny Depp's performance. His smart and cunning charater is like a breath of fresh air. The action sequnces are fantastic, and the plot is very good.
