All classes are invited to perform at various celtic events in Utah, including the Utah and Payson Scottish Festivals. Students are also encouraged to enter into Comission-approved Feiseanna (Irish Dancing Competitions).

Attire in Class:

Students are required to wear dance clothing, including shorts, tights, leggings or skirts with leotards or fitted t-shirts. No jeans or pants are permitted. Please do not wear immodest or baggy clothing to class.
We do not encourage soft and hardshoes until after 3 months of instruction. Ballet slippers or socks for softshoe and light sneakers (such as keds) for hardshoe may be permitted.
There are many places to order shoes from. Please contact us for vendors.

Costumes

For performances, beginners may wear the following:

Poodle Socks (which may be ordered at either shop above)
Black circle skirt (inquire about patterns) White button-up, collared shirt
School Cape

Intermediate may wear the same, or order the school costume. Advanced dancers are required to have the costume to perform. Costumes usually run to be about $120, and can be seen in our Gallery. This costume also includes poodle socks.

Again, if you have any questions, please contact the Power Academy at the above address. Thanks!
