Friendship

To make a lasting, loving friendship, It requires an ingredient or two. Or really it needs well more than several, And plenty more than a few. 4 ounces of giggles, every minute or so, 3 teaspoons of tears, for every time you go. A dash of dreams, and always a please, And plenty of room for memories. But with the sweet, come the bitter, To make the flavor, oh so much richer. 2 cups of fights, and the arguments we had. 3 tablespoons of bad days, that made us really mad. 4 pounds of forgiveness, 5 quarts of love more, And 6, yes 6, gallons of happiness to pour.
