looks down upon
the guests that arrive
Placed on a plaque
centered onto
the floral design
The creature stares
into your eyes
You image it
crawls out of it’s hole
drops to the floor
Up your leg
it goes
But then its gone
disappeared
Then you realize
its just
Nothing more
than simply
A head on the wall
