Alright, so, how do you get an image for the background in a lookup or petpage?

Put the url of the background in the place it says "URL HERE".

Color

Cool, so what if I just want a plain color?

Type a color or a hex code where it says "COLOR HERE".

Fixed

Alright, back to that image background. How do I get it fixed? Ya know, so it doesn't move?

Be sure to change URL HERE to the url of your image.

No Repeat/Center

Alright, that's cool, but what if I want it to stop repeating... and be centered??

Again, be sure to change URL HERE to the url of your image.

Links
Basic Link

How do I make a basic link??

Image Link

Well, what if I want an image to be a link?

Quick Links
How do I make those quicklinks? Like the ones on this page?!

This can be tricky if you make it that way. Only use these on your pet pages, not on your lookups. Now, The first thing is to make the link you click on. If you want the link to take the person to a paragraph on your family, you'd put this:

It's just like a normal link with the "a href," but you put the link's URL as your petpage's url, then after that be sure to put the "#" sign, then what you want the link to be called. Now go to the paragraph you want the link to take you to. Around the title or the beginning, put this.

Note: The name in quotes HAS TO BE THE SAME as what you put after the # sign in the link. A finished example looks like this.

E-mail Link

How can I make an e-mail link? Neopets only offers a neomail thingy...

Neopets lets you put #OWNERLOOKUP in place of your name so that it'll create a link that'll take the browser to your user lookup. This is how to make a link that'll create an e-mail box that'll send a message to your address.

Background Mouseover

This is just a fun thing to put on your page. It might not work on Neopets because I'm not testing these to make sure they do.

Put your mouse here to change the background color!

Popup Mouseover

This is another fun one. It might not work, but it's still kinda cool.

Put your mouse here.

Styles

Okay, enough of this hocus pocus. I just wanna know how to change the colors of my links.

Replace the word "COLOR" with the color of your choice. Only put use this code ONCE, and put it somewhere near the top of your coding.

Decorations

In the code above, it says "text-decoration:none." What's that all about?

The text decoration is something that happens when you click on the link or otherwise. For example, when you put the mouse over the link, it could appear underlined or the cursor could change. Here is a list of decorations.

This will make the link underlined.
This will make the link underlined and overlined.
This will make the link have a background color.
This will make the link be slashed out.
This will make the cursor turned into a crosshair.
This will make the cursor point up.
This will make the cursor point down.
This will make the cursor point left.
This will make the cursor point right.
This will make the cursor point right.
This will make the cursor turn into an hourglass.
This will make the link turn bold.
This will make the link turn bold.
This will make the link turn italic.
This will make the link turn into a different size. Be sure to change the "#" sign into the number you want.

Okay, how do I change the scroll bar colors??

Text Areas
Basic Text Area

How do I make a text area like the ones on this page... like the ones you put all the codes in?!

Be sure to change the "bgcolor" if you want it a different color than white. Same with the text if you don't want it black. If you want it a different size, just change teh "cols" and "rows" numbers. You need to use hex codes for the colors, though.

Allows HTML/Div

What about the text boxes around here that you have some examples in? The ones that allow the HTML and doesn't show the actual coding??

I recommend you use these in a table. If you put each cell in a text area like this, then you won't have to worry about putting the end on there. If you don't, however, you will need to end it. Simply put (/textarea)(/div) but put the regular HTML brackets (<>).
