~~~~~~~ BREAKING NEWS ~~~~~~~ Before you vote in the new poll, please take into consideration one of the choices. If we get a background, we loose our option to have a lot of links, info, and mini movie on the home page because of guild limits. The guild puts a limit on exactly how many characters we can have in the html (computer language) we use when we create our guild home page. The backgrounds at Nevslife.com, although quite beautiful, take up a lot of that limit. All of the links, info, and our beloved mini Legolas movieis copied here, on this NEWS page, so if you did choose to have a Nevslife.com guild home page, those would not be lost. It would simply mean you would have to come here to get to them. We would be very limited with what we could have on the home page of our guild. That being said, please go vote in this weeks poll below!~~~~~~~ NEWS ARTICLE ONE ~~~~~~~ When our guild reaches a total of 15 members, the Royal Lady will be sending every regular member a FREE SCARABUG PETPET!!! We are almost there! Only one more members to go!

~~~~~~~ NEWS ARTICLE TWO ~~~~~~~ The Royal Lady of this guild (oasishypnosis) is into petpets. They will often be gifts to members for things such as loyalty to the guild, random events, or races. When you receive a petpet from the guild, it is yours to do with as you wish. The longer you are in the guild, the more petpets you will earn! We hope you like petpets! The council has decided by majority vote that new members should get a petpet as a gift for joining after they have been in this guild for just one week! It was going to be two but that seems way too long to wait, don't you think?! The Royal Lady will make a point of regularly checking when members joined to decide when petpets are owed. However, if on the rare occasion she fails to send you your petpet, Neomail the Royal Lady of the Knights and Ladies of Valor Guild (oasishypnosis) when your week is up so your petpet can be delivered to you! If you do not make your selection known, a selction will be made on your behalf. These are the petpets you have to choose from at the end of your first week!

What other kinds of things can you get a petpet for in this guild? Hmmm, let's see... inviting friends (if they join and stay), putting our banner in your shop or petpages, making banners for the guild, coming up with great ideas for the guild that work, monthly activity on the messageboard, and other random events in the guild which I surprise you with! Do you want to know how many petpets I have already given away so far since this guild was started? I lost count but somewhere around 30. Not bad considering we only have 14 members!

~~~~~~~ NEWS ARTICLE THREE ~~~~~~~ I need a reason to give away more petpets! After all, that's what I do best in this guild! It's what I'm famous for! So if any of our members are good at making banners, I'm good at giving away petpets! I have a ton of banners already and Jellyworld knows I have more than I can use now! But I just like giving out petpets so if you have an artistic flair and think you can top what I have already done, give it a try and let me see it. If you do send me a banner, I will put it on the banner page and give you credit for making it. My only requirement is that the banner state either the name of the guild in full (Knights and Ladies of Valor) or the initials in all caps (KALOV) or both. That's it! Other than that have fun! Be creative, use lots of color if you wish, and try to stick to the Lord of The Rings theme. If you need some hints, just take a look at some of the other banners already on the banner page. If you would like me to send you some images I have from the LOTR movies to work with, just let me know. I have several and they can be cropped giving you several options. There are two ways to get the finished banners to me. 1) Send them to me in an email at veronica@oasishypnosis.zzn.com 2) If you have your own website you can upload the image to your server and put the link in our guild message board. It is Perfectly ok for you to add your name or user lookup name to the banner if you wish as a signature of your creativity. ~~~~~~~ NEWS ARTICLE FOUR ~~~~~~~ We have a "Guild Allies" section so that other guilds can gain exposure through us and vice-versa. If you know of a guild who could benifit from this exposure or would just like to have your guild listed with us, neomail oasishypnosis with the guild information!

~~~~~~~ NEWS ARTICLE SIX ~~~~~~~ This is just an example of the kinds of things members can earn petpets for at the Knights and Ladies of Valor Guild. About a week ago, the Royal Lady, oasishypnosis), made a surprise attack (*tee*hee*) on all of the guild members shops! What was she looking for? Guild Banners! What did she find? Guild Banners! Of our regular members at the time, It was very pleasing to note just how many members actually had the banner in place without being asked! To all of our regular guild members who had our guild banner placed on their shop page without being asked to have it there: Thanks so much for your loyalty. Because of your unselfish act of kindness toward our guild you were rewararded with a free Psimouse petpet!
