Stage crew has been around Mother Teresa Catholic Seconday School for about 6 years. The first 5 years that stage crew was established, they were unsupervised by any teacher or other high school authority, until the last year. The 6th year of stage crew a teacher by the name of Mr. Paul decided to take charge and see what was going on with this Mother Teresa school club.
Stage crew was first established as a course given to the students by the teachers in order to help out setup and tear down, provide audio and visual effects for the school events and occasions. The class that was first introduced to this idea ended up making it a regular thing even if there was no teacher to surpervise them or instruct them on what to do. They just volunteered after school and during their spare time in order to setup all of the equipment needed for the event that was to go on. Over all stage crew had developed from a class, to an after school volunteer program into an organization where students of all grades can join and help out with preparing school activies and events
