Karen Watts is the journalism teacher and newspaper adviser
at Wheeling High School. She has occupied this postion for three
years. Her students have won individual and staff awards from such
organizations as the Journalism Education Association, Quill and
Scroll Society and National Scholastic Press Association.

     Karen is currently a graduate student at Roosevelt University

     She has been featured in the Illinois Journalism Education Association's newsletter. She was also a member of the inaugural class of Ball State University's ASNE Institute for journalism advisers in 2001.
