3d Car Designing
3d Car Designing A typical digitizing application is the capturing of a design model in the product development process. The result is a cloud of 3d data points which represents the object. From these images, the XL software calculates the exact 3d positions of all marker using photogrammaetry. I start out with an 8.5 by 11 piece of cover stock weight(takes marker well and holds up to abuse over time)recycled type paper. I buy this in large packages at the office paper supplies store(much cheaper than getting a similar paper at an art store)To create the models, you,ll need a modeler. I recommend 3d studio max. But mainly because i have it here, and the ASE importer is one of the most used formats, for me personally(so its also problem does best at importing all of the available data). Other than Max.

You can also use Maya or Soft image or whatever you fell like. If you want to use a free modeler I’d recommend Z modeler, which has a DOF import/export filter so you can work very directly. When modeling a new car, make sure you place the body model’s center near the center of gravity of the car. This will make the rotation motion look better. Touch-3d can of course also be used for unfolding soft materials objects such as the seat shown above. It is particularly useful for models which do not consist of rectangular surfaces, and have a more sculptures. Other soft material uses may be inflatable models, blimps, upholstery, furniture, soft toys, tents, and so on.

We are doing a report on a subject that we choose in Mr.gomez’s computer class. I choose 3d car designing because i’m into cars. That's the closest i can get since I can’t drive yet. 3d car designing caught my eye in the universal movie called The Fast and The Furiouse. I saw the behind the scenes and they said they had to use a lot of 3d graphics. For example the scene of when jesse is trying to rebuild a 99 toyota supra. That movie had alot of 3d car graphics.
