*Question of the Day*
What is the sickest you've ever been? (And you must provide me with sufficient detail so that I may proclaim a "winner" i.e. who deserves the most pity for being so horribly ill, bonus points if its humorous) Answers by 7:00 PM, please!

GooseUA: last semester, 3 weeks before Spring Break I had strep throat, or at least they thought. So the health center gave me penicillan (sp?) and sent me home. I started feeling better until the next week comes around and i'm back with strep again. So I go to the health center again...they give me keflax (a more powerful antibiotic). It seems to kick the strep out of me.
GooseUA: Then the next week I wake up at 3 in the morning with dry heaves and then finally with throwing up large amounts of bile (since I haven't eaten anything in a few days) I go back to the health center and they say I have strep, well I was pissed cause I had had strep now for 3 weeks and I STILL HAD IT! They decided to run a mono test and it came back positive, so it turns out I had mono for 3 weeks and didn't know it, needless to say they gave me percacet for pain and my parents had to drive down to tucson and bring me home for spring break because i couldnt drive
GooseUA: so all of my freshman year spring break i was at home in bed feeling like shit! This year I'm livin it up to make up for the fun I missed last year ;-)

Fuzzyalien1013: The sickest that I have ever been would have to be two summers ago...because of this sickness I missed the first day of my spanish 201 class...if I would have missed another day, I would have been dropped ( ashley do you remember this?)..anyways, I figured out that I had the 2 week flu condensed into 24 hours. I threw up every 30 minutes for about 8 hours I had a fever of 103, I was shaking constantly or sweating and I had constant nosebleeds...pretty much I had constant fountain-like tendencies from every orifice of my body for 24 hours. imagine if you will, Kate cross-pollenated with the trevi fountain...not a pretty picture is it? well you can only imagine...

imnotabandgeek33: ok...so i was at michigan state last fall, and somehow i contracted pink eye. not only did i have it in one eye, i had it in both. not only did i have pink eye in both eyes, i also had one of the worst sinus infections i've ever had. not only did i have a horrible sinus infection and pink eye in both eyes, i also had strep throat. so i would walk around campus looking like a drunken, pot smoking, snotty, mute person. i couldn't touch my eyes, so i looked like i was crying all the time. but i couldn't miss class because i had finals in 2 weeks...i went into my friend's room down the hall, sat down on her couch for 10 minutes, and the next day she had pink eye. that's how serious my pink eye was. i think that is the most miserable i've ever been. and on top of that, nick had just left to go back to tucson, so i was crying my eyes out, which didn't make the infection any better. i went to see the doctor, and he just laughed at me. he gave me lots of good drugs and i was better in a week. top that!

NYYBW051: morning of my senior prom i woke up with a 105.5 fever...i've never experienced that before i couldn't even sit up in bed...my head felt like it was going to explode because it was so hot...i drugged up on a bunch pain relievers and went to prom and stayed out all night...probably not the best thing for me

rafaeladurobles: Senior year of HS, I had a really really bad flu. I could barely eat and I had the a 104 degree fever, and really bad chills and aches. I missed school for four days and all my friends freaked out because I never missed school (in high school).

Srista912: well there was the time junior year when i was really sick for my 16th birthday and i had to take all those inhalers and steroids. and then there was last year when i had pneumonia, i think that was definitely the worst...but you know the details of that one.

Now keep in mind that I did give bonus points for humor and creativity, but I also think that all of you have disgusting stories. This is very hard. So without further ado...
1st prize: TIE! Chris and Kate because that sucks. And its always nice when you resemble a fountain with bodily fluids. (Both of you.)
Runner Up: Breanne, because she was really sick, I saw it and it was scary and she was really brave. Not first place though because her delivery was lacking.
2nd Runner Up: Sam, because that was disgusting. Congrats to you!
